Together with Hardwell himself, we went on and broke this barrier of time and distance: we invited 22.000 fans to his private ‘Revealed’ party on Nikki Beach Miami. By live streaming in 360 and VR we created another audience positioned right next to Hardwell himself.

Fans were able to enjoy his concert from their web browser, smartphone, tablet, and high-end VR goggles such as the Gear VR. In cooperation with our dedicated partners Leaseweb, Utelisys, Littlstar, and the Hardwell management, we successfully created the first-ever EDM virtual reality livestream.

The South Florida event takes place every March, packed to the brim with showcases, conferences, meetings, interviews, and more leading up to Ultra Music Festival on the final weekend. Hardwell had a schedule filled with all of the listed above including his UberYACHT, 5 IDMA acceptances, and a coveted Main Stage set at Ultra.

To give his fans a view into the week-long extravaganza with a little help from Scopic, Hardwell has released the “Hardwell 360 Experience”. The electronic music dignitary posted pictures and videos throughout the week to keep his fans updated on his antics, but he decided to take it one step further with a 360° video of the activities. 

This was one of the first 360 documentaries both for YouTube and the EDM industry in general. It quickly got attention and was viewed over 700.000 times.
